First of all, I must start off by saying that I LOVED this app! I used it without incident for almost two years; planned ALL of my plantings this way. Having said that.... Id rate the app -5 stars if I could.
I contacted support back in May because the app crashed while editing one of my garden plans. That happened from time to time before, but when it did, I would simply kill the app and re-open and all was well. Well this time, it crashed, and no matter what I did it would NOT re-open. It would begin to open and then crash immediately. So I backed up all the files using iTunes, uninstalled and re-installed the apps. My garden plans were gone. So, I tried to synch with my online account to bring them back.....they wouldnt sync. I tried re-importing the garden plans from the backup I made using iTunes....nothing.
Support contacted me immediately and told me that they would work on it and not to worry about 2 years (3 seasons per year) worth of plans, because I had the foresight to back up the files it would be ok....difficult to do manually on my end, but worst case we could get it done.
Well, I was contacted that with a solution or two that didnt work, and then was emailed that it had been escalated to a higher level and that they were working diligently to fix the issue, but it may take a while. NO PROBLEM!!! Hey, they were working on it.
That last contact was May 30th. Since then I sent two more emails asking for an update and have gotten 0 response. It is now the very end of July and they are apparently ignoring me.
Now I have no plans, no history, and Ill be going back to pen and paper for this so it never happens again.
Dont bother with this app. Great idea, very poor support for their app. If it works for you, youre great. If something goes wrong....apparently you are on your own.
As for me....Im even canceling my magazine subscription. Even if they said we have no idea how to fix it and man have we tried.......I wouldnt have been thrilled, but at least I know they bothered.
