Disappointed - no grid lines when printed out

Once we figured out how to use it, it was pretty slick. But when we finished with our garden plan on the iPad, we emailed it to our PC so we could print it. Very disappointed to see it only prints without the grid lines! How the heck can we use it for a planting guide out in the garden when we dont know the measurements? Luckily we had some grid paper at home so we did the math and scaled the printer to match our paper.
